Noosa Surfing Competition - Australia
2nd Place
Kalani and his
daughter Eliza
have been coming to KGA for private lessons with
Jack to help them with their Tandem Surfing (sans
the water!). Their first competition out the
gate was on Oahu (Makaha), where they took a 1st
Place. Then it was on to Noosa, Australia
where they came in 2nd by only .57pts, but were
about 4pts better than the 3rd place couple!

Exhibition at Kukui Grove
Dennis Fujimoto of the
Garden Island visited the gym on Tuesday, December 11th in preparation for an
article about the upcoming Exhibition (December 16th). While he was there,
we captured this picture of the team (missing are Brittney Yoshida, Hana Hanks,

Performs at the Kauai County Fair

Kauai Gymnastics Academy's
highest level team -- the Kula Hui -- performed at the
County Fair as part of the State Farm Keiki
Performances. Kyren, Lani, Machaela, Megan, and
Savannah wowed the crowd with their talent.
Bela Karolyi Visits KGA!
April 4 2006 --
Kauai Gymnastics Academy welcomed Bela Karolyi
to our gym!
KGA earned the right for Bela to visit by selling tickets to
the Pacific Alliance Championships on Oahu. Bela came as part of the
promotion for the event. His Honor, Mayor Baptiste was on hand to welcome
Bela and to congratulate the gymnasts on being part of a great sport on a great
island! The Garden Island publicized the event beforehand.

Kukui Grove Shopping Center
Center Court - December 18, 2005
Iki, Hoku,
and Kula Hui kids had a great time showing off their
gymnastics talents on a beautiful Sunday, the week
before Christmas. A large appreciate audience of
shoppers and family surrounded the girls for an
enjoyable two hours. The girls rotated between
Floor Exercise (Ex), Beam, and Tramp Trak, finishing at
the Floor Ex area for "Crossfire" and "Dominoes."
